Newly released police dash cam footage showed the moment a North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper killed a man during a traffic stop.
The traffic stop occurred on May 30 at roughly 4:37 p.m. in Chatham County. During the stop, a man, identified as Mark Anthony Diaz, 21, of Staley, North Carolina, allegedly got out of the vehicle with a handgun, causing Trooper Rodney Cook to fire at him.
