Michael Hutchence See Pics Hollywood Life

Born in Australia on Jan. 22, 1960, Michael Hutchence was the lead singer of the rock band INXS. The heartthrob helped pen some of the groups biggest hits, including ‘Need You Tonight,’ ‘Mystify,’ ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ and ‘New Sensation.’ In addition to his remarkable talent and electrifying stage presence, Michael was also well known for dating a string of beautiful women including fellow Aussie singer Kylie Minogue and Danish supermodel Helena Christensen. In the 1990s he had an affair with British TV host and journalist Paula Yates, who was married to the brainchild behind the Live Aid concerts, Irish rocker Bob Geldof. The romance sparked a media scandal in the British press. Dogged by paparazzi and negative headlines (and upset by the bitter custody battle between Geldof and Yates over their three daughters), Michael committed suicide in a Sydney, Australia hotel room on Nov. 22, 1997. He was just 37. He left behind his 16-month-old daughter Tiger Lily – the only child he had with Yates.
